Shore 2 Please UPPER - Experience the ultimate West Coast feel in this 2 bedroom suite cottage with stellar ocean views off the huge balcony with propane fire pit and gas BBQ overlooking the ocean, mountains and Gordon River where the West Coast Trail begins. 

The space

This UPPER LEVEL cottage called Shore 2 Please sleeps up to 6 with 2 bedrooms (1 king and 1 queen) and queen sofa bed in the living room. NOTE: The 2ND bedroom is downstairs from the main level.  The large dining and living room has a gas fireplace and the kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessities, including complimentary coffee, tea, spices and condiments.  Free Wi-Fi is included. 

What you should know

This cottage is pet friendly and has the option of offering two separate suites. There is a $50 pet fee PER STAY.  Both suites have their own separate entrance, or if renting as a whole for a group, you may rent the whole cottage (sleeps up to 10). There is an extra $25/each person fee for over 6 guests per stay.  There is a connecting door inside for access to the lower suite. 

*During busy times of the year, you may find guests in the lower suite so please be mindful of noise levels.

Guest access

There is a bright and sunny green space in the back yard ideal for lawn sports such as horseshoes, botched ball, throwing a baseball, playing frisbee, etc. There is also a tennis court (free) in the residential area (nicknamed beach camp) just a 10 minute walk away.

Other things to note

This area is popular for fishing, cycling and hiking, surfing, kite boarding, paddle boarding and kayaking. World renowned include the gorgeous Botanical Beach and the old growth of Avatar Grove. Take a 10 minute drive to Fairy and Lizard Lake and enjoy floating on an air mattress or a dip in the lake to cool off in the heat of the summer months. Check out the West Coast and Juan d'Fuca Trails. Take a 10 minute stroll to the new Gateway marina and Bridgeman's Bistro (open 5 days a week). Other amenities are the Port Renfrew Pub, the Coastal Kitchen (open seasonally) and Tomi's Cafe (great coffee, breakfast and lunch) at the foot of Baird Road.

Directions from Victoria:  Head North on the Trans Canada Highway 1.  Follow the signs on the highway to Sooke.  From Sooke to Port Renfrew takes about an hour.  Once you arrive in Port Renfrew you will be on Parkinson Road.  Just past Tomi's Cafe is Baird Road.  Take a right and then an immediate left into the Wild Coast Cottages.  Keep to your right all the way to the top of the hill.  Shore 2 Please, Upper #231A is in the new development, second stand alone cottage on the right.  Park right in front of the cottage.  Enter on the left side of the cottage.

Directions from Nanaimo:  Drive on Trans Canada Highway 1 South.   Drive past Ladysmith and Chemanis.  Before Duncan, turn right on Highway 18 (Herd Road) to Lake Cowichan. It's about a 30 minute drive to Lake Cowichan.  Drive another 5 km to Mesachie Lake. Look for the sign that says Port Renfrew and turn left.  It takes about 1 hour to drive to Port Renfrew.  Turn left at the Port Renfrew sign, over the bridge and to the stop sign.  Turn right on Parkinson Road.  Just past Tomi's Cafe is Baird Road.  Take a right and then an immediate left into the Wild Coast Cottages.  Keep to your right all the way to the top of the hill.  Shore 2 Please #231A is in the new development, second stand alone cottage on the right. Park right in front of the cottage.  Enter on the left side of the cottage.
